As a therapist, I've NEVER worked with a person who didn't make progress. Although the amount of progress varies from person to person, progress IS progress. ALL progress MATTERS. The cost of sessions depends on the length of sessions. The first session, otherwise referred to as the Intake Session, allows for a 90-minute appointment. I have found providing additional time is ideal. This allows you adequate time to ask questions, disclose information and your history, as well as beginning to clarify your goals for therapy. The cost of this initial appointment is double the rate of a standard 50-minute session. This fee covers the increased amount of time spent together in session as well as the work I do behind the scenes to get you started! The follow up 50-minute session, is $125. If you would like additional time, 30-minute adds on are $65.
Evening appointments are available. These slots have some limited availability. Please contact me and inquire.
Payment is due at the time of appointment. Cash, check, and all major debit/credit cards accepted. You may also use your flex and health savings account.
As per policy and for your convenience, I ask you to store a debit/credit card with the secure client portal upon intake. You may choose to use your CC on file regularly or as a backup.
I chose to work with individuals (you), not for insurance companies.
If you choose to use your Out-Of-Network Insurance Benefits, I will provide you with a receipt of services, also known as a “Superbill.” You may then submit this to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Utilizing insurance is your choice.
Please be aware your insurance provider may choose to cover all, some or none of these services. Therefore, before your first session, I suggest you contact your insurance company to verify your out-of-network coverage of outpatient mental health services.

You will be charged the full fee for canceled or rescheduled sessions with less than 24 hours’ notice.
When you enter into therapy with me, I commit to you. I asked you to be equally invested in the process and our relationship.
First, I reserve the same day and time for our weekly appointment.
Second, I limit the amount of clients I choose to work with at any given time, allowing me to serve you best and meet your needs. As a therapist it’s essential I live what I teach my clients.
Third, there a lot I do behind the scenes outside of our counseling sessions which helps serve you better. The time and energy I put into reading, gathering and preparing for our time together are beneficial to you.
Finally, I am committed to going above and beyond to help you. I am available between sessions if something comes up in your life. You might need a quick check-in, a sooner appointment or another resource.
When appropriate, I also will research and give you additional tools, information and other resources tailored to you. These might be worksheets, workbooks, handouts, articles, suggested apps, books, groups, etc. Many of my clients appreciate these resources as they serve to inform, normalize, and empower them as they move towards the life they want to live.
I value and respect you and your time. I am committed to your healing process. I only ask the same in return. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment for any reason, I am more than happy to accommodate your needs.
