Learn More About What It's Like to Work With Me!

What's it like to work with me?

You receive ongoing support, compassion, and acceptance coupled with knowledge & tools!

When working with me, you will receive ongoing support, compassion, and acceptance. I will arm you with the knowledge, tools, and techniques you need to move from surviving to thriving!

From your first session to the last, I help to smooth the path for you to share your concerns. I often encourage you to guide our sessions, disclosing at your pace without being bombarded with tons of questions. I trust your ability to acknowledge struggles and share your goals.

When that negative voice inside of you begins to criticize your efforts and judge your process harshly, I’ll be there to help you put things back into perspective. Where others see failure – I see opportunities to learn and grow from painful experiences.

And if you get stalled or slip back into unhealthy thoughts or patterns, I’ll be there with an encouraging nudge forward. My clients appreciate my ability to challenge them with compassion and humor. You aren't coming to counseling to have someone co-sign everything you say and do. You're looking for honest feedback and support which leads to progress.

It’s common for us to get stuck in loops which are harmful to us. I won’t let you get stuck there long. You can also count on me to help you learn to get unstuck on your own.

Move from existing or surviving towards loving and thriving!

Why I want to help YOU.

Why do I want to help you? I became a counselor because...

At my core, I’m a helper! With an innate sense of compassion and the belief in the goodness of humanity, I see the best of who you are and your potential within.

My experiences further brought into focus my deep passion and desire to help you recover and heal from those profoundly painful experiences. Few of us reach adulthood without facing challenges or experiencing significant pain or loss. I believe my own experiences continued to navigate me towards my life’s purpose, to help people.

Looking back, every challenge I have faced is overshadowed by the joyful moments of my life. In the darkest most painful times of my life, I was never truly alone. There was always someone holding my hand – providing support, encouragement, and unconditional acceptance. Every person deserves to have another battling the darkness with them as they reach towards the light.

I share this with you because it's important you know we are all human, and we all need help at times. My story and personal experiences aren't any better or worse than anyone else's. We all have our own story to share. We all need support. Let me hear your story. Let me walk with you on your journey.

Let me help you create a full, meaningful life, with love and joy.

There is hope. Reach out now. Talk to me, I’m listening and I care.
