Hi! My name is Chloe Rimer, and I’m a graduate student at Stephens College, currently working toward earning my Masters of Education in Counseling, with an anticipated graduation date of August 2019. Previously, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work at the University of Missouri. I have enjoyed working in nonprofit organizations and community agencies that have helped me to gain experience in working with people from all walks of life.
My therapeutic approach is person-centered and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). What does this mean? It means I view you as the expert on your own life. I assist you in understanding how your past experiences impact your present. Together we can identify how to break unhealthy patterns and change the way you see yourself and the world.
I’m particularly interested in helping adults to manage anxiety, depression, and ADHD.
During my downtime, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two dogs, Jake and Charlie, curled up on the couch watching Netflix.
