Hello

Meet Elizabeth

Life can is often imperfect, challenging, or even painful at times. There's no road map telling us which way to turn. No magic spell which can cast away those unwanted feelings. Thankfully, there is hope. Your life can be an amazing, beautiful adventure!

Open Letter

Few of us reach adulthood without experiencing challenges, pain or loss. I believe my own experiences continued to navigate me towards my life's purpose, to help people. As a therapist, I help my clients heal from profoundly painful life experiences. I help you see your worth, deepen your connections, and live life to the fullest.

Looking back, every challenge I have faced is overshadowed by the joyful moments of my life. In the darkest, most painful times, I was never truly alone. There was always someone holding my hand – providing support, encouragement, and unconditional acceptance.

I share this with you because it's important you know we are all human, and we all need help at times. My story and personal experiences aren't any better or worse than anyone else's. We all have our own story to share. Every person deserves to have another person battling the darkness with them as they reach towards the light. Let me hear your story. Let me walk with you on your journey.

MY STYLE & APPROACH TO TREATMENT

Gain clarity, navigate painful life experiences, & reconnect with yourself & loved one's. Find joy!

I've decided life's too short not to be myself. That means I wear jeans and Sperry's to work, laugh and joke with my clients, and curse on occasion. Our relationship is important, more important than the professional wall other therapists would prefer I build up brick by brick. I don't want to maintain a polite mask of distant professionalism. I have real relationships with my client.

I want you to feel safe to show me who you really are, which requires trust. But trust goes both ways. I want you to feel comfortable sharing all the shit life has thrown at you. As we work together to accomplish your goals, you'll also learn to be comfortable in your own skin.

Ultimately my approach is simple. I'm genuine, empathetic, honest, fully present, and when necessary straightforward. I meet you where you are while challenging you to move towards where you wish to be. My clients appreciate my ability to challenge them with compassion and humor. You aren't coming to counseling to have someone cosign everything you say and do. You're looking for honest feedback and support, which leads to real, lasting progress.

As a therapist, I'm honored to be a part of your journey towards healing, growth, and self-empowerment. It's a privilege to be entrusted with your deepest secrets. Therapy provides the spark you need, empowering yourself to create the life you deserve. You are not alone. I'm ready to walk beside you. There is no better time than the present. Contact me now.

"Sometimes the bravest and most important thing you can do is just show up." - Brene Brown

Being vulnerable does not come naturally to many of us. We learn to build thick walls and hide behind masks of polite responses. Somewhere along the way, you may have internalized the message asking for help is a weakness. I'm here to tell you its the exact opposite.

Asking for help and reaching out for support takes courage and strength beyond measure. Life is full of challenges, but you do not have to face them alone.  Let me walk beside YOU.
