For years the buzz word has been self-care. Yet, many of us picture bubble baths, massages, and creamy chocolate bonbons. Well, those are definately some of my favorites. However, it's much much more. 

Self-Care is any activity that we do deliberately in order to take care of our mental, emotional, and physical health 

Sometimes self-care means sleeping, eating & cleaning.

Those of us who are helping professionals (doctors, nurses, yoga instructors, physical trainers, massage therapists, and yes, even therapists) are often the worst offenders. We tend to take care of EVERYONE around us, but we aren't always good a prioritizing ourselves.
